The first!

So I finally started a blog! Heidi and Chrissy better be very excited! I am not much of a writer.. this blog will mostly be about the stupid things I do during the day. I am an odd ball, many times i am just in my own world. My Pole vault coach once told me that he wants to hire someone to follow me around and film me through out the day just to see how I survive and the many weird things I do.
The title of this blog is really what i get asked a lot.. Heidi (my best friend roommate) thought a good name would also be "Stop bothering me, diane!" and I am not offended by that at all! I got asked what is wrong with me twice this past week by my sprint coach at track. His name is Randy, a freaking hilarious African man that can be crazy intimidating sometimes. We were doing these hurdle drills where you step over one sideways and then go under one right after. As I was going under my head got caught on the pin that it used to raise and lower the hurdles. The pin took off some skin and cause me to bleed. I told Randy what happened to explain the blood on my forehead and he replied,"Girls much taller than you have gone under those hurdles and I have never seen anyone cut their head open! What is wrong with you!?" All i could say was, " I wish I knew.." and kept running.
Two days later I actually did something worse! I was warming up to do a timed 30 meter run. Practicing pushing off the weird blocks, accelerating for a little and then slowing down. I was wearing new sprinting spikes! I was so excited to wear the new shoes because they were shiny and when the sun hit them they had rainbows on them! AMAZING! So as I was accelerating in my shiny spikes that I am not yet used to, not going too fast since I was warming up and my toe caught. I face planted on the track with the whole women's track team there to watch. They broke out in laughter as I lay face first on the track realizing what had just happened. I, of course, was laughing at myself and got up and continued going on with my day. I had nice scrapes on my knees and on my shoulder and a gash on my knee from one shoes spikes. I somehow scraped the back of me knee and the best was my shoulder scrape! Randy saw my nice scraped and I told him what happened. Once again his reply was "What is wrong with you, Diane!?"
Someday I will find an answer to that question..
